Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad Mahavidyalaya, established in 2008, is one of the prestigious institutions founded by the Shri Kulswamini Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's, an educational trust established in 2008. The Society has a rich legacy of promoting education and social upliftment. The Mahavidyalaya was founded with the vision of providing higher education opportunities to young, first-generation learners in the Marathwada region (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar).
